How to make a flower

Hair Accessory

You will need:

õ 2 pieces of fabric about 20cm long  and 3cm wide(if you want to use lace, use only one strip of fabric (~ 15cm and 2cm wide~)

õ 1 Pencil

õ Buttons

õ Some coloured lace (optional)

õ A circle of felt with a clip on it

And a needle and thread

Method:

Firstly you need 2 pieces of fabric or 1 strip of fabric and 1 strip of lace. Then glue the largest piece of fabric/lace together to form a circle. Now with a needle and thread weave the fabric/lace in and out with the needle and keep going till you get to the end. Grab a pencil and ask a friend to hold the pencil up for you. Place the fabric/lace loop over the pencil and pull tight on the thread that you used to weave through it. Next tie at least 3 or 4 knots so it will stay together. Now do the same with your friend and then do the same with smallest strip of fabric/lace with the help of a friend.

Then place the smallest loop over the biggest old them tight and with a needle and thread go up and down through both of the loops together. Once your done choose one very nice button that you like and with a needle and thread again go through the loop on the button and own through the fabric then up through the fabric and continue till you think it is secure enough. Now with glue put a circle of felt that has a clip already on it.
